1. GPT-5 Integration CourseAI now supports the cutting-edge GPT-5 model (chpt-5). You can select this model for enhanced reasoning capabilities in your course generation.
2. Background Processing (Ad-Hoc Tasks) To solve timeout issues with large courses, generation and creation are now “ad-hoc tasks.” This means they run in the background, and you will receive a notification and email once the process is complete or if an error occurs.
3. Improved Reliability We fixed several issues where notifications were lost or previews contained empty activities. We also added specific handling for JSON errors when switching between AI models.
Getting Started You don’t need to do anything, background processing is now the default to ensure your browser doesn’t freeze during large generations.
